After a brief few days in Prague to recharge our batteries, it was time to head off to our second convention in Finland – the FinnAcro convention held in Jyväsklä. Scroll down for the video of our adventures.
We were only here 6 days but we had an awesome time. The convention was really nice – it started with a higher level preconvention before the open level main event. We loved teaching here and had a great time jamming some crazy things in the evenings.
No visit to Finland is complete without visiting a sauna (or two) and a swim in a lake. We had lots of lakes to choose from – apparently there are over 180,000 lakes in Finland – but our favourite one was right in front of Saila’s house where we were staying. Perfect for a post sauna dip! But don’t take our word for it, see for yourself in the video.
A big thank you for Kat and Jared for playing with us, to the organisers of FinnAcro for making us feel very welcome and organising a slick event, and most of all to Saila for hosting us and showing us around.
You can find out more about the Finnish Acro Convention on the Facebook page, and if you’re travelling through Helsinki airport cast your eyes over this post for a few tips and tricks.
