Wow what a weekend! Our first US acro convention was Acro Camp – America’s oldest acro festival hosted by our good friend Joe that we met many moons ago at the Dutch Pre Convention!
We loved it here – the camp is in the middle of forest, with little huts to sleep in and big oak trees to play under. It was so chilled out, and yet we still got some really good training in and left feeling excited for what’s to come on our American adventures. I could write about all the amazing things here, but really its the people that make it what it is – half the participants dress up and if you want to share your skills you’re free to do so – everyone is welcome to contribute – it really is a festival made by the participants and its awesome.
Big thank yous go out to Flips for making sure we were caffeinated each morning, taking wonderful photos, and flying Scott in his first pitch half turn. To Jeremy for making sure we were never without whisky and music, and to Joe for making it all possible.
